Prof. Jarosław Bodzek, PhD - PROJECT'S DIRECTOR

The head of our project is an employee of the Jagiellonian University Institute of Archaeology. He specializes in numismatics, mainly Greek, the influx of Greek and Roman coins into Polish territories, the art and architecture of ancient Greece of the Archaic, Classical and Hellenic periods as well as the Roman period, archaeology of the Black Sea region and the history of antique research in Poland. He is an author of 2 books and over 100 articles and other publications. more>>>

Dr. Kamil Kopij, PhD

Dr. Kamil Kopij is an employee of the Jagiellonian University Institute of Archaeology. His scientific interest includes various issues in the history and archaeology of Ancient Rome with a special focus on the late republic. He studies propaganda and image creation in Ancient Rome. In addition, his interests include Roman numismatics, including the subject of finds. In the project he acts as a co-conductor of field research. more>>>

Łukasz Miszk

Łukasz Miszk is an employee of the Jagiellonian University Institute of Archaeology. He specializes in the problems of urban planning and architecture of ancient cities as well as modern methods of field research. Moreover, his circle of interest is the issue of interpretation and reconstruction of everyday life in antiquity. In our project he is a co-conductor of field research. more>>>

Dawid Mrocheń, MSc

Dawid Mrocheń is a PhD student at the Faculty of Mining Surveying and Environmental Engineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. In our project he is a member of the surveying team, however, he takes every opportunity to dig. In recognition of his enthusiasm for archaeology and field experience he's already gained, we have self-appointed him an honorary bachelor degree. more>>>

Maciej Bernaś

Maciej Bernaś is a student of the National Film School in Łódź and a former student of surveying at the AGH University of Science and Technology. In the project he works as a photographer, and when necessary, he helps with both surveying and archaeological works. more>>>
